Hello all. How do I change my files to display in listview in windows 10?

To get List view in Windows 10, 1. Open the desired folder, 2. Make sure nothing is selected by using CONTROL plus SPACE BAR. 3. Then press CONTROL plus SHIFT plus Five on the Numbers Row, not the NumPad.
Personally, I prefer Details view over List View. To do this, substitute CONTROL plus SHIFT plus Six on the Numbers Row in step 3.

Hi, Mike. Try CONTROL plus SHIFT plus the six key on the numbers row, after unselecting all files in the desired folder. This will display your files in order.

Yes, We know details view isn't the same thing as list view. But he wanted his files in order instead of in rows (tiles view). If that's what matters, list view and details view both suffice. I gave him the shortcut keys for both list view and details view.

one place you can find the keystrokes mentioned in this thread is in the following guide to File Explorer. In the Items view section of the guide, there's a sub section on views, and the keystrokes are also listed in the keystrokes section. https://vip.chowo.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/jaws/File-Explorer-10-Guide.html Note that although the guide is written specifically for Jaws users, nearly all of it is equally applicable to users of other screen readers.
