Dropbox Issue: Folders/Lists not being read

Noe Villeda

When I try to install the latest version of dropbox, using windows 10, jaws will not read anything in the listview or folders.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi.

I was going to ask how to get everything in the System Tray to not be hidd4en. All is well now, except JAWS ain’t there. Oh well, these things happen.

This thread has been retitled to make it easier to find in the archive for future searchers.

Since I don't use Dropbox I can't be of any help there.

As far as getting things to show at all times in the system tray:  Settings, Personalization, Taskbar Pane, Select which icons appear on the taskbar link.  After activating, you will be presented with a list of the apps on your computer (as well as a toggle to make all of 'em show, but no one generally wants that, really) that allows you to toggle on an app-by-app basis to select which remain always in view on the taskbar when running.  Those that are set to off will still appear, but in the overflow area, when they're running.

Youneed to go in to db's settings and choose the option to use dorpxo in windows explorer. Then it will read fine.

Take care

the only thing I remember is this.

  • go to your system tray with windows plus b.
  • locate db and hit your context key or shift f10
  • click on settings
  • go to the option that talks about running dropbox and viewing files and hcoose explorer. It will be in the first tab.

exit out with ok.
