Attachments Issue

JERRY MARTIN

Afternoon all.

I am using windows mail for my email program, along with JAWS 2018. Can anyone tell me how to open and save attachments? This is clear as mud to me. Thanks, and I apologize if this has been addressed before.

Have a look at David Moore's Tutorial in the Group Wiki:  Mail, Calendar, People apps

I know he covers attachments, but I don't know exactly how much is covered.

Well, lets see, I am doing as I type but, using jaws 20. So your jaws has to be in ribbon mode. Turn this one, go to insert 6 and type rib, it will come up as the first option, make sure it is checked.

Make sure your change it in the all default settings too.

Now open the mail app. Open the message with the attachment to it. So I usually have to tab up to the attachment. Now hit your applications key and you can arrow up to open this file or save this file. I have all my files set to be saved in the downloads folder; makes things easier.

Cheers Heather
