Re: [solved] missing start menu search field
Hi,
Is tablet mode on? To check, open Action center, then look at “tablet mode” control. If it is pressed, press Space to turn it off. Another place to look at is Settings

[solved] missing start menu search field

Leonard,
If you're already using an older version of TB I would say no. Are you using TB for the first time?

Re: How to Stop the Alt-Tab Key From Reading Row and Column Information When Switching From One Window To Another
Hi,
This is due to the fact that open windows are presented as a grid and somehow table column position information is presented through UIA.
Cheers,
Joseph

Re: hard drive diagnostic test program
What is it specifically that you're trying to find out?
Speccy generates a lot of information about drive health that can be saved to a text file for review.

Re: How to Stop the Alt-Tab Key From Reading Row and Column Information When Switching From One Window To Another
I have solved the problem and I must say I'm feeling a bit foolish.
First, the issue was screen reader specific. I thought I heard the row and column info speaking in JAWS but I had a bit of an aha
