I have been thinking about one of those barebones pcs myself, some can have full i7 cpus,full drive bays, etc and you just plug and go.

they are not low end. They are the lowest of the low end. I wouldn't dream of buying such a cheap piece of junk pc. I would get a better computing experience using my pc from 8 years ago.

Because Windows restore point does not always work. Also it has been claimed that it can screw up your system but I have never experienced this. I have experienced the first problem though.
