Hello. With my new laptop I am encountering a nice selection of optional updates from the Windows Update service consisting of drivers. If drivers are optional and if everything appears to be running properly is it still advised to accept
them or is it better to skip them? One of these is from Realtek and since my sound card is working perfectly I’m somewhat concerned that installing a driver that I may not need could wind up causing problems which I currently don’t have. Again, all of these
are considered optional updates. I assume that the best way to be fully certain is to research each driver?
For reference, here is what I’m being offered.
