Thanks for the advice.

The problem is actually with wmp.

It doesn't even allow me to run it by itself.

Maybe, as you say, I need to uninstall and reinstall it.

Try a different type of media file or file
just to eliminate it isn’t the file you are trying to play is corrupt
or just cant play that media type

If that doesn’t work then try uninstalling the media player and reinstall

I trust the email finds you well.

I have just updated to win10 v1909.

Strange that I cannot access wmp any longer.

When I try and play a song in win player, the message 'wmp' not
responding' appears.

It will freeze like that forever.

What is happening?

What should I do?

I am confused and need your assistance.
